Cpanel has two interfaces. One is Cpanel and the other one is Web Host Manager. But both of these interfaces are combined to give the users a better experience.

How to Install WordPress with Cpanel?

All Hosting services provide you with a Cpanel but only Hostinger company offers a Hpanel. So first I will discuss how to install WordPress using Cpanel.

If you are not using a Hostinger account then in another Hosting server you can see this option Softaculous Apps Installer.

You can directly install WordPress if your hosting provider is not providing WordPress installation.

First, go to Cpanel and then Home and then Software. Then click on Softaculous Apps Installer.

Then in the search bar, search for WordPress. You will find a WordPress icon like this.

After that, you will get two options. One is Quick Install and the Other one is Custom Install.

Here you will get a form that you need to fill.

You can see some pre-filled values there. You can leave them as it is.

In the next step, you need to give your website URL. It means that URL, where you want to install WordPress.

After that, you need to put in your username, password, email id, and language and then click on the install button.

Here, WordPress will be installed.

How to install plugins for WordPress?

Now, let’s understand how to install plugins for WordPress?

First, you need to visit your admin area of WordPress. Then on the left side visit the plugin section.

After clicking on the Plugin, you will see an Add New option at the bottom. If you want to add new plugins then you need to click on that option.

You need to search for that plugin you need to install.

Search plugins related to your ideas.

After searching that plugin then you need to click on that install button.

And then you need to click on activate to use that plugin.

Click to Activate plugin in WordPress.

Now you can use the plugins you installed and activated.

Now, if you want to remove or delete any plugin just click on deactivate first and then click on delete.

How to Install WordPress Manually?

There is no need for manual installation because WordPress can easily be installed through Softaculous.

But in some cases your Hosting server does not provide Auto WordPress Installer option then you can install it manually.

First, You need to download the WordPress zip file on your PC from WordPress.org.

Secondly, then you need to unzip that file under your public_html.

You need to upload WordPress to your Hosting Account

You have three options to upload WordPress to your hosting account.

The options are-

  1. You can Upload through the File manager.
  2. Upload through SSH.
  3. Upload through FTP.

The easiest option is uploading via File manager.

Login to Your Cpanel

First, visit wordpress.org and download the zip file.

Download WordPress zip file from official site.

Then go to the file manager from your cPanel account and open the file manager.

Open file manager form Hostinger server to install WordPress.

Here inside Public_html, you can upload that zip file you recently downloaded from wordpress.org.

In some cases, in public_html you can see the default data and files. You can delete all files and then upload these zip files. 

Now after uploading the zip file press right-click then extract the file here.

After extracting the file you can delete that zip folder.

Now double click on this file then go to the inside that folder and then copy all files and then move all files under public_html.

Now you can see all files come under public_html. Here your work is still not completed.

You need to create a DataBase first then your site will work.

Create DataBase from Cpanel

So, after logging in cPanel, search for the database section and hit on the MySQL Database option.

NOTE: I am using the hostinger server to explain this process. But maybe your server is different but this process is the same for all hosting servers.

Then you need to create the database. Here you need to create the database name, username and password then click on create.

Remember this database and Username because when you install WordPress they will ask you about this.

Now visit your domain in the browser you can see this type of window. Click on language English and continue.

After clicking on continue you will see next to this window click on Let’s go.

Now add here your Database name, username, and password that you created in the MySQL database.

Remain Database host and TablePrefix as it is the same.

After all, click on submit and then Run the installation.

After running the complete installation now it’s time to set your site title, username, new password, and your email and then click on install WordPress.

This data is for your login details for the WordPress admin area. Like when you type yoursitename.com/wp-admin then you can type here your new login information.

Lastly, don’t click on search engine visibility because if you click on then google will not crawl your site. So keep it untick.

Now you’re all done you successfully install WordPress Manually.

How to install WordPress with Auto Installer?

First, log in to your Hostinger account and hit the option of Hosting on the main menu. I am using Hostinger to explain to you in your hosting server this process is the same.

After that, choose the domain that you want to install WordPress in if you have two-three domains hosted.

Then click on Manage.

Then on the dashboard, you will see an option of Auto Installer after the website section.

Just click on the auto-installer.

After that, select WordPress for installation. Then you need to fill a WordPress form.

First,

  1. WordPress should be next to your custom domain name.
  2. Make sure your WordPress administrator username, password, email should not be the same as the login information.
  3. Choose your website title and language.
  4. Now, you can always select the latest available version.

Now click on the Install button. You have all done you have successfully installed WordPress.

On the dashboard, you will see the edit website option. From that option, you can access your WordPress admin panel.

OR, you can access the WordPress dashboard from the Dashboard button under the WordPress section.
